Exquisite Antique Victorian garnet brooch pin featuring rose-cut pyrope garnets. Taking on the shape of a starburst or flower, the tiered brooch has varying sizes with three tiers of deep red garnet gemstones set in a silver mounting. A tubular hinge and roll-over clasp (a replacement ages ago) close the piece. The brooch dates to the mid to late 19th century and is a gorgeous beauty in very fine condition.
