A mysterious brooch of gorgeously wrought sterling silver leaves and blue cat's eye dangles. Very interesting. Curling convex leaves are embellished with applied wire "veins" and beading. Two orbs of deep blue cat's eye are topped by silver caps and suspended on silver tendrils. They very closely resemble blueberries on the vine. The decorative top of the brooch sits atop an oval plaque stamped "Handwrought", "Sterling", and with the initials "JRB." Despite all of these clues, we have not been able to identify the obviously skilled artist. The brooch is finished with a security pin. Circa 1940.

Details.....The brooch measures 1.5" by 1.70". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
