This new brooch is part of a small collection of beautiful Roses created by Andrew Logan in Spring 2024.

These roses embody Andrew Logan's love of beauty and nature. He says of flowers in his book Reflections; "They heighten one's senses - the scent as well as the look of them. I think they are absolutely essential. Even in arid wastes or the middle of the desert you still get flowers blooming. The natural world is amazing."

This beautiful rose can be seen in the new Franz Ferdinand video Audacious.

LOVE is beautiful brooch that will bring joy and wonder to any outfit. Large enough to make a statement and with enough details to demand closer inspection, it features a stunning selection of glass and jewels from Andrew Logan's collection.

The brooch takes the form of a flower. At the centre of the flower lies a beaded flower decoration. Shimmering magenta beads reflect light in all directions. On top of this, five fuchsia beads takes centre stage, sewn into a flower shape and embellished with tiny woven silver-pink beads. 

The rose petals of this striking flower are formed of magenta mirrored glass. All of these elements have been set into red resin, which has been covered on all sides by sparkling red and multicolour glitter. This is a truly unusual and standout piece of Andrew's wearable art.

This piece measures approximately 11.5 by 11.5cm at its widest points and weighs 64g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded into the back of the brooch.

Andrew's mother, Irene Logan famously said; "If you only have two pennies left, spend one on a loaf and one on a rose. The loaf will give you life, the rose a reason for living."

LOVE has been handmade with joy by Andrew Logan in his studio in mid-Wales. Each piece of Wearable Art is signed and dated by Andrew on the reverse.
